Professional Profile
I qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine in 1999 and did my basic medical training at Ipswich Hospital and gained membership of the Royal College Of Physicians in 2002. I then completed higher specialist training in diabetes, endocrinology and general internal medicine rotating through West Suffolk and Addenbrooke’s Hospitals. In 2005 I was awarded the Novo Nordisk research fellowship to undertake research into small fibre neuropathy using the LDI flare technique. This research led to an MD in 2010. I was appointed as a Consultant Physician at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital in 2010 where I worked for 5 years before moving to the James Paget Hospital in 2015.
